The vehicle had already been forced into regeneration twice and had an oil and filter change. Faults were stored P1436 and P0045 one related to regeneration and one for boost control.
Our normal DPF testing routine quickly identified a boost leak from the inter cooler when it was subjected to our pressurised smoke test.
Closer inspection revealed impact damage.
After replacing the inter cooler we carried out our three stage on car cleaning system using the excellent JLM cleaning products.
After resetting the DPF we carried out an extensive road test to confirm that the DPF system was working correctly and the vehicle was fixed.
